Trump workers brief the President twice a day but it’s not the typical intelligence run down. Instead, workers are forced to find stories that will boost the President’s ego and present him with that documentation.
The first documents arrive at approximately 9:30 a.m. and a follow-up arrives for the Commander-in-Chief at 4:30 p.m.
Originally, the documents were delivered by Former Chief of Staff Reince Priebus and former Press Secretary Sean Spicer. Each document contains 20-to-25-pages of ego boosting materials. packet to President Trump personally, White House sources say.
Former White House officials say the documents did not include top-secret intelligence or updates on legislative initiatives. Instead, the folders showed screenshots of positive cable news chyrons, tweets from supporters, transcripts from TV interviews that show Trump in a positive light, and other praise-filled news stories. Vice reports that the President also likes to see photos of himself looking “powerful.”
Several staffers started referring to the materials as “the propaganda document” after Trump proclaimed, “it needs to be more f*cking positive.”
U.S. taxpayers are paying for the documents to be created and delivered. The folder starts in the Republican National Committee’s “war room” which was expanded from four to 10 people in an attempt to actually dig up enough positive press to make the President happy. These individuals monitor local and national news, examine social media and digital channels and read through print media to find the most positive stories available about Trump.
Trump’s personal propaganda team starts their day at 6 a.m. and work throughout the day to boost his fragile ego.
The same team responsible for finding positive articles and other materials about the President are also tasked with pitching President-friendly articles to pro-Trump publications and journalists.
“Maybe it’s good for the country that the president is in a good mood in the morning,” one former RNC official jokes to Vice — although it probably wasn’t a joke at all.
Sean Spicer has denied the documents on “several levels” but didn’t go into depth with his denial.
But let’s be honest, we know Donald Trump considers all negative press against him to be fake news.
